Alright guys not sure if this was posted before....I remeber hearing it but couldnt find it screaching so please dont flame....A friend of mine had someone else install his radio....The guy totally messed the whole job up....screwed up his dash and the whole thing....hear is the question

Now his power door locks dont work unless the car is running....the only detail to add it the radio is wired up incorrectally and does not work at the moment...does this have something to do with the door lock problem....Does the stock headunit control the door locks like on previous gen civics....It is a 7thgen btw....thanks again guys

Power door locks work regardless the car is running or not. The stereo has nothing to do with the door locks. The stereo problem is serperate from the door lock problem. If the two problems are related, then the guy really did mess up the whole job.

unless he blew a fuse... he'd have to work to get the locks fudged up

so check the fuses.
