more vibrating from the back

i think the rear seatbelt assembly's or them actually vibrating against something is causing some bad noise when i crack up the subs. i only have 2 JBL 10" with a 300.1 amp, and 1/3 of the way up, i can already hear alot of vibration.

any suggestion to prevent this?

I have everything back there dynamatted and foamed--I still hear the rattle. I think it's internal to the middle seat belt assembly. Nothing you can do.

Yup...my rear deck is carpeted, and there is abosultely no rattle back there....the other thing i've done on some of the NE members cars is use 3/4 foam weather stripping on all the edges of the rear deck that come into contact with the window. That does work, but not as well as the carpet.

yeh i used a thin gasket along the window and back deck, i actually took out the back seats, all the panels, including the back deck. all was left was bare metal, and you could still hear alot of vibrations.

i guess nothin to fix it

What kind of carpet do you use, where do you get it, how does it match, and how did you do it. I have some 3M spray glue that would probably work. I know I saw a thread about it a long time ago, and saw a pic of WhiteRabbit's deck, and never PM'ed him about it.

Go to a car audio shop, or a car upholstry shop....tell them what you want to do, show them a sample of your carpet, then they should be able to find you a match
