mmats amp alpine head unit and power problems
i just recently had my system installed and here is what it is composed of.... i have an Alpine 9815 head unit, a MMATS dhc1400.1 amplifier, 2 Kicker L7's in a ported box, and a stinger 1 farad? cap, and the wire to the amp is 1/0 gauge. Well the problem is when i turn the music up the amp draws so much power my lights dim really bad and my head unit completely shuts off. i had the capacitor installed thinking it would solve my problems but it only help just a little bit. the people at the audio shop said i need to get an optima heavy duty battery put in my trunk. ny question is will this solve my problem? because i dont mind spendin 150 on the battery if it is gonna fix my problem. if it wont fix it do any of you have any suggestions that might work. all help is greatly appreciated. thanks

big 3 is your stock grounds, your battery to alternator, adn battery to fusebox...
hondas are infamous for using horrible stock power cables...
and id probably reccomend upgrading the stock battery instead of adding one
