EX front compnent question
Im thinking of slapping my old Pioneer deck into my car, and it runs 50x4 MOSFET power, and I would like to know what the power handling for the stock front speakers is, aready know the backs are 35, and are getting replaced.
Thanks in Advance

Dont worry about it....your certainly not going to blow them with "too much power". They are rated around 15 RMS I think...and your HU wont put out more than 25 watts or so per channel at best.

most radios put out 28-33, but the mosfets used in a headunit arent the best quality... the only time youll ever get 20 watts out of the headunit is with massive amounts of distortion.... at a reasonable level of listening, youre putting out 10 watts, 15 max... remember that a doubling of power only yields 3 db, so its not much of a difference
