Fatmat
i think either mohawkboom or someone else wrote a review and compared all of the sound deadening products. i couldn't find it though. but i remember fatmat being the best quality for it's price.
I have installed fat mat on the bottom floor, sides and part of the rear deck in my trunk only. I am running 600 watts to 2 12" audiobahn speakers, and if I turn it to a song with alot of constant bass, get out of the car (windows up) i can bearly hear the thump, and if i touch the trunk it vibrates a bit, but no rattle, and 1 layer is quoted at +3db, 2 at +6db, and i wouldn't suggest any more layers! I have 1 layer, apx 40sq feet used. I also layered the back of my liscene with 2 layers, and adjusted the trunk latch so it closes tighter. I also threw a rag over the top of the trunk vent (behind the left wheel well) to prevent it from rattling. So yes... fatmat is good.

i dont know about the "doubling your bass" like it says on their site but for stopping rattles it own3s dynamat for the price!!
The stuff kicks ***..... I have 2 layers on the inner skins on my doors and 2 layers on the outter skins.... not only do my 6.5's get some very nice midbass extension, but the noise coming from the doors has been dramatically reduced (granted still lotta noise coming from the windows and floor).
I also fatmatted the trunk and reardeck. That along with some trusty 3m doublesided foam tape & weatherstripping and I have had no rattles...... DEFINATELY get fatmat over dynamat.

I have fatmat lining my entire trunk, rear deck, and doors. This stuff is probably the best audio invesstment I have ever made whenimporving SQ and reducing unwanted noise and rattles. I also got the floor liner (didn't do too much though IMO). But Fatmat is a great product at a great price.

Fatmat is complete garbage. I got their expensive hoodliner kit and a few weeks later the fatmat lost all it's stickiness. I had to use another glue just to hold it up. And after 4 months in still smells like tar. The smell won't go away. Dynamat is far superior in every way. I have extreme dynamat in doors and trunk, and some brown bread under the carpet on the floors. The brown bread smells less and fades away over time. Check out b-quiet.com for some good info.

I have both in my car...and I like the fatmat because of the performance to price value. It works great, and the send you all the stuff you need for installation if you buy the right kit.
Fatmat works great if installed correctly, it is the same deadening as Dynamat. My first layer underhood of fatmat fell off as well, even though I used the supplied cleaner and got what I thought to be all the dust off. After it fell off the first time, I noticed there was a sticky residue on the metal, so I re-applied fresh fatmat, and it has been holding for over 2 months now with no problems.
And what do you mean by heat resistance? As in it doesnt come off when exposed to heat? Or are you asking about it's insulation properties?
People outside your car will still hear your system loud and clear, they just won't hear all your rattling.

Fatmat does not like heat. The areas on the edges of the hood were still good, but the middle where the engine is just lost all stickiness.
thanks for the info
by heat resistance i meant how well it stays on under high temperature. on the sounddomain forum many ppl say it is the same as peal n seal but under a different name and many ppl complain about it falling off and oozing...
i decided to get 50 sq. ft. of second skin off ebay for $50...REALLY good price...almost too good to be true
