antenna problem I think
Every time the base hits while I'm playing the radio the reception gets messed up. It only happens when I'm playing the radio, when I play cd's it's fine. I know the antenna is somewhere by the back speakers. So is the vibration somehow disrupting a connection in the antenna? Has anyone else had this problem and how did you fix it?

Antenna is glass mounted I believe, the actual connection should be located just behind the last pannel on the passanger side of the rear. Its the pannel behind the rear seats, I think...
Also, this may be a longshot, but maybe the bass is drawing too much from your battery and your powered antenna wire isn't getting the full 12 volts? Just something to think about, but its most likely the glass connection.

I think if it was drawing too much power then I would be having the same problem when I'm playing cd's. The amps I have are not all that powerful anyway. If it is the antenna that's the problem would the people that installed everything be responsible? Like maybe they loosened the connection or something?

Well, the thing is, if you were playting CDs, you wouldnt hear the radio cutting in and out... Does your HU have both Remote Turnon and Power Antenna Leads, or are they all one wire? Yeah, its possible the vibration is affecting the Antenna, I don't know of anything that could help though...
There is a booster behind the kick panel on the passenger side, and another plug behind the C pillar in back, you could have a loose wire in either of those locations. Go back to the shop that installed it, tell them you've had that problem since you get the system installed. They shoulde check it out and correct it free of chrage.

I brought it to the shop and he replugged everything and reset the HU and now everything seems to work fine. Hopefully whatever they did fixed it for good. Thanks for the help.
