Premier 850MP vs. Alpine 9813

Anyone have one of these head units, and what do you think of them? I like the features of the pioneer, but the specs on the alpine are better so im stuck between the two. Which one would you go with?

I have the pioneer and love it. I just got it hooked up to an amp and sub this weekend and it sounds great. I couldn't be happier. I've just had it hooked up to the stock speakers for over a year and it sounded fine. It has a lot of nice features that you can tweak the sound and get it sounding how you like.

There is one problem though... since our dashes aren't completely flat and sit at a slight angle it makes the OLCD hard to see in the sunlight. It can be annoying, but I love the look of it anyway. That would be the only negative thing I can think of...

Ludlam is right tho, they are basically identical when it comes to features, just pick the one you like the look of best and can get the best deal on.

Good luck with your install...

^^ Agree with both of you....IMHO, I'd go with Alpine cause of the Time Correction/i-personalize feature....

I had a Premier 840 and went to a 9813 and personally i think the 9813 sounds alot cleaner. Although its much easier to see the OEL display on the pioneers. The alpine is washed out in the sun and even at night its pretty hard to see.
