Question NEED HELP!! About To Install Components and Amp

I just bought some infinity 60.5cs component and my causin gave me a 4 channel Hifonics 4x50w mosfet amp. OK here is the question, how the I wire the components and the tweeters so that each channel on the amp is hooked up to a speaker and tweet. It probably is easy but the crossovers and the 2 RCA's are confusing me, someone please help

Check this out. Do this for each side...left and right. This pic is actually from a Boston Acoustics pdf, but it's the same orientation as your crossover.

Since I have a four channel amp, should I bridge two channels to supply more power? And does a four channel amp require two sets of rca's? I didn't really know and my causin put in doubt. I only have one set of pre-amp outputs in the back of my HU.

If you only have one set of pre-outs, then you only need one set of RCA's.

Most amps have a switch to choose if one set of RCAs will drive both parts of the amp, or if you have two sets, and each drives a half.

And no, I would not bridge that amp onto those speakers at all.

So 50 watts is good enough to power both the mid and the tweet?

Its more than enough. I power my Diamond M6 components w/ a Kicker 150.2 that puts out 70x2 max, 35x2 rms. My gain is about 65% of maximum. They can get much louder, but unbearably so.

But the thing is amplifier watts aren't really like HU watts. Amplifiers put out power over a larger bandwidth at a much lower distortion.

My amp
Power: 70 watts
Bandwidth: 20 -20k (+0/-1 db)
THD: 0.085%

My HU
Power: 50 watts
Bandwidth: 50 -20k (+0/-3 db)
THD: 5 %

So my HU is going ***** out to make a distorted & crappy 50 watts while my amp is barely even working to make 70 very clean watts. Wattage is just a number. What backs those watts up is just as important. If my HU had to put out wattage with the same specs as my amp it would be close to 10 real watts of power.
