damaged amp

i have a kenwood kac 929 2 ch amp.. it has a built in cooling fan, what happened was, my idiot friend put his backpack right on top of the amp and we drove for about 2 hours playing it pretty loud.. then the bass started kicking in and out every few minutes, then stopped completely and the amp won't turn on anymore. can this be repaired? what is damaged and how much would it cost to get repaired? thanks.

well, your amp overheated. Does it still not work? This can be fixed, so hopefully its still under warraty and send it in.
