Overhead flip down lcd

Whats up everybody. Got a Pioneer 6.5" in dash monitir/dvd player. I would like to install an over head Pioneer flip down monitor. Has anyone done this in a civic? Everyone has told me that a civic is too small for a flip down, but I have it and I think it will look tight as hell. Plus my son needs a screen in the back. Anyways, I was wondering if the sunroof will cause a problem. I do not know if I will be able to open it once I install the lcd. Was going to get it professionally done but they all kind of put me off like they dont want to do it. If you have done this, or think that it can be done. Please post a reply!!

Because I have an EX, it has the wholes in the headrest and the wires will show through, also I am getting some new racing seats and cannot put them in the new seats.

Visualogic makes replacement headrests with monitors already in them for our cars. I'd say check them out because and overhead flipdown will be very hard to make work.

It shouldent be a big deal to install at all. All you have to do is cut a hole in the headliner for wires, then use whatever mounting equpment came with it to mount it onto the headliner.

Yukonart will become famous soon enough
Trust me. . . the sunroof WILL cause you problems. I would not recommend an overhead with a sunroof.

I would also check SAVV. They make all kinds of custom pre-fabbed monitor housings. . . including headrests. Otherwise, have one professionally-installed in your headrest, and the installer can simply cover the back of the screen in the donut hole (that's what I call them) with a piece of foam and cover that with fabric. It will work easily, and will be very discrete.
