where can one get custom fiberglass stuff made? whats a ballpark $$$ amount you might pay?

LT's right. . . if you're handy at home, you can do quite a bit after learning the basics.

If you're like me and don't have the room or the facilities to do DIY fiberglass work, then be prepared to shell-out some dough. My installer and I just talked about this earlier today. . . . to redo my whole trunk is going to cost several hundred (more like close to $2000) in custom labor. But that's for an ENTIRE trunk with multiple amps, subs, caps, fuses, neons, etc. . . with plexi.

But ANY fiberglass work is likely to cost more than you think if done in a shop.

$650 at a shop for that, ballpark.

edit: for the box alone. amp install is extra, the falsefloor rack, even if jsut cutting a hole, is extra. wiring is extra. other work is extra. 650 is my ballpark for that box built, loaded, wired to teh amp, installed in the car, and tuned. thats it.

Do it yourself at home, that aint worth spending $$ on. We did my audio setup at tech day.

thats right huh. is yours fiberglass? thought it was MDF and plexiglass. you have a nice set up though, i should go to the next tech day after the one on the 25th (whenever that will be) and see if everyone would help me out

i can help anyone out in person on the norcal/socal meet with fiberglass, if your gonna be taking the drive in august.....

but usually fiberglass is a 2 day process, but regardless, i can fish out some touchy-feelies, if you want some show and tell...
