I'm about to replace my new head unit (birthday gift to self) and I’m looking at these three. Does anyone have any of these installed in their car? got any pics what are your thoughts on the brands and their customer service and warrantees?

Well, I can't comment on any of the 3 decks...I have the Pioneer 6400 (which I love).

As far as install kits, I went with the Scosche. It's okay, but you may have heard some negatives about the kit "bowing" under the head unit. Unfortunately, mine suffers from that issue. It seemed a good fit when I installed it, but the bowing started a couple of weeks after.

I've heard good things about the kit available from Best Buy..."American" something, I think...

My biggest concern would be what one can I see in the daylight.

Our cars are horrible for viewing. The glare of the sun w/ the angle that the decks are at is a bastard.

Do a little search on it to see what decks everyone recommends.

I personally swapped to a Pioneer OEL display .... no more problems.

i prefer one of the metra kits, and as joe said, the pioneer with organic el are superb in being able to view them in sunlight...

The easiest way to remedy this problem is tint.

I dont have any problem with being able to view my POS Pioneer DEH-1400 headunit.

I got the Best Buy install kit, it has had zero problems, fits tightly, no bowing. Cost me frickin $50 though.
