It's been 4 years since I last had a system in my vehicle, and since I just purchased my '03 Civic EX, I'm thinking about going all out this time around.

I've disassembled an XBOX and I've figured out how to install the DVD ROM Drive below my head unit, the Hard Drive / board hidden inside the dash, and I can relocate the conroller ports to various places in the vehicle...

Since I want to do this right the 1st time around, I need a bit of assistance.

Does anyone know of an after market kit that will allow me to use the FACTORY pocket with an after market head unit?
(I'd like to hide the DVD ROM Drive inside the pocket behind the flip down pocket door.)

I'd like the kit to match the bezel, and I can't seem to find one.

I'm not sure who makes it, but I'm almost positive there is one out there...just search around, you should find the name of it somewhere

This probably isn't what you're looking for, but Metra's Turbo Kit (P/N #99-7897) comes with the little door thing, and if the factory one matters that much, you could just hack away at it with a dremel or something....hope it helps.

in my civic, the pocket and the hu are seperate pieces, i had the factory pocket and half of the metra kit at one time, but i now have the metra kit with the pocket, cause i couldn't seem to get my fingers in there to get cd cases out when i put them in there with the door closed...
