Anybody runnin' Bazooka Tubes?**EDIT: New question!**
**NEW QUESTION**
Alright. From what I understand, there either aren't many people who either have, or are fans of bazooka's. However, Ludlam suggested Infinity's Basslink. Now where I live, I can't find anybody who either sells it, or even knows what it is. (I did get a few "deer in the headlights" looks from a couple salesman) So I decided to go on E-Bay (I'm an e-bay virgin
) and saw this Infinity Basslink . Like I said, I can't find one around me, so I need advice from people who know the prices, is this a good deal?
Thanks
I'm just curious about them if you have them. I unfortunately, had to give up the 2 10's about a month ago, cause I need the room for a stroller, baby prison(playpen) and such. Now, I don't mind getting rid of the subs, but now, there just isn't the bass. Now, I know that Bazooka's aren't gonna shake my face and turn my brain to tapioca, but I need some low-end in my car. I don't wanna pull the spare out of my car either, cause it's already saved my a$$ a couple times, coming out after work and such and having a flat.
So I guess my question is, do they at least add to the low end, so that you can at least hear it, or are they just a waste of money?

I've never heard one in a car, but I had a few hooked up in my room, and they did fine there (testing for a friend, not permanent mounting). They should add enough to the low end to be noticable, just use your own amp. The amplified versions all suck major ***.

Actually, I did check out the JL stealthbox. I don't have a coupe, but the installer said that he could make it fit
. But at a price of $900 can. for one, without the amp, I thought better of buying one. Besides, I got all this baby stuff to buy first.

I have a Bazooka RS-604 that I had installed in my old Nissan, and it worked pretty well. As you mentioned, it's not earth-shattering, eyeball-vibrating bass, but that's never my goal anyway.
I have yet to install the tube in the Civic, but I now have my new amp from Crutchfield, so as soon as I have some time, in it goes!

FWTW, I did finally get my amp/sub install done yesterday, and I must say that the Bazooka sounds better in the Civic than it did in my old car. I guess it could be that I have a better amp now...I'm not sure.
Anyway, even though I still have some tuning to do, it sounds pretty good. I'm not much into the heavy bass-saturated sound that a lot of people go for, though. However, it's bassy enough for me to have to do the "license plate rattle fix" when I get time.

Bazooka
I dont personally have one installed, But a friend of mine had one for his mini van hooked up with a soundstreem reference amp, and It sounded great. Good bang for the buck, but you still need to get a quality amp.
