Is my amp worth installing???
I found this old *** amp lying around in my house when I was cleaning up and was wondering if I should install the thing??
Here are the stats
Pioneer
DC.12V - Ground
CONTINUOUS POWER
35W x 2/4
(20 - 20,000Hz THD = 0.08%
80 W x 1/4
(20 - 20,000Hz THD = 0.08%
Load IMP 2--8
Input Level 400mV - 2V
Speaker Input Level 1.6 V-8V
Keep in mind I know absolutely nothing about car audio.
BTW I am planning to run 2 10' with a Sony Xplod Deck 52 x 4??? Will it be enough power?? IMO having something is better then nothing...

So you have an old Pioneer amp w/ the ratings: 35x2 rms @ 4 ohms or 80x1 rms @ 4 ohms
First of all that Deck will not run subs directly. You will need an amp of some kind. If the Pioneer amp has a crossover or if the deck does than that amp can work.
Also, Sony isn't so hot in the car audio world. Plus depending on the deck they are impossible to see in our cars due to the angle of the dash.

You would probably be safer just not installing the amp. In the first place, pioneer doesn't make the greatest amps but they do make make nice head units and speakers. Second of all you said you just found the amp lying around in your house. There is probably dust or god knows what in the internals of the amp. If you still really want to put it in, check it out really carefully first, so you don't fry the amp or anything else in your sound sysytem.
