Hi

Im new to this forum and need some advice.

Had a minor fender accident and my passenger headlight assembly broke internally- bottom part inside the assembly.
Lights are working properly though. Its just that it looks bad

Mechanic asked me to replace the whole headlight assembly unit. Factory store costs 250 bugs.. There are several cheapers one in the market and just wondering if anyone of you can recommend good ones or atleast indicators as which one would be good.

Low on budget and OEM parts seem expensive.

OEM parts are expensive for a reason... they're the most reliable and leak-free parts on the market. Have you tried going to a junk yard or something? There might be some intact housings there.
