New fenders
Now, i know people flame about the Z3 fenders and such. I personally like them. i thought it was cool when they came out with the metal ones w/removable gill, so i got them. Now it was a waste of money b/c the gills are really small and one broke off when i was driving (thank you body shop!). I ran across these on ebay and thought they'd look better. Any suggestions?

ya, i like those much better than the ones with the cutouts. but if i had to choose, i would go with the M3 fenders. i just dont know if they come without the side molding part

but anyways... Yes, these signle piece fenders are much better than the one with 'replaceable vents'; I have yet to see other interchangeable vents for those z3 fenders, aside aside from the ones they already come with.
And yes, the vents can fall of or be pulled off of the z3 fenders. That could be bad news if you molded the vent to the fender and then painted over. Sorry it had to happen to you. :-(
There are other types of single piece fenders out there as well. Just search it up. I've been looking for a piar to replace my oems. I'm going to do major body work probably in a year or two. The roads and highways have been repaved, and sure it's a smoother road, but there are millions of little pieces pebbles being tossed around. I think I'm going to get a tsunami front bumper.

i just don't like the fiberglass fenders. The metal ones usually fit perfectly. But i like those Henshin ones... even tho they are FG. Hmmm... what to do??
I havent seen the SLR fenders in metal or that they are even made for the 2k1+ coupes. I strongly believe in metal for body and urethane for the bodykit. I highly doubt that i'm gonna change my mind anytime soon.
