CF hoods with holes in them
Do these do anything? Keep the engine bay cooler? Reduce weight (I guess?)? I've seen a lot of cf hoods that have these in them. What's their purpose?
I'm not talking about the normal "scoops," I mean the other type of holes.
Thanks,
IronFist

you have to be more specific and show a pic ironfist, the only "holes" i can think of are the scoops/vents and the washer holes.. as for the vents, they might keep the engine cooler, but they are primarily for looks. they are not fully operational like the hood scoop on a WRX

Here's a pic. This isn't a scoop. The eBay auction it's from says they're "vents." Anyway, here you go:

Also not scoops:

Looks like nice little holes for water to run into your engine bay.

There safe, if your worried about water in your engine then dont drive in the rain. Any time you drive in the rain your engine bay gets wet. Even more when you drive behind someone in the rain.
