do your tyc projectors have this affect...

I recently purchased these from tornactive and i am wondering if the stock bulbs have the affect of color change when you move around like some projectors do. If you know what i am talking about the bulbs kinda change color from stock look affect to hyper white to blue and so forth, does the stock tyc projector lights do this???? or do i have to buy aftermarket bulbs like mtec h1???

yup!! i love it! hehe... i have MTECs in mine and i like lookin at my headlights reflect off other people's car so i can see. the stocks change color too, but i think it looks even better with MTECs or PIAAs, since it goes from a light yellow, to white, to blue

make sure you get MTEC 2x.. not 4x.. cuz 4x is just like any other HID style bulb with 80+ watts

they could...but mostly its that they burn much hotter than the 55W (which is hot enough as it is) and can do some damage to the housing itself...they also have a shorter life-span

Actually not all projectors have color aberation. Its only DOT spec 3 and up projectors that have this ability. You don't necessarily need HID's to have this prism effect, but your projector optics have to have a sharp enough cutoff to achieve this look. Also the distance of the shield and the filament/arc can further enhance this look on any DOT spec 3 projector lighting.

the nokya h1 bulbs are good but I had a pair and they blew in my projectors. I still like the bulbs though. they are good hyper whites.

i dont think tyc puts beam pattern/cutoff into consideration when they make their headlights
