I was wondering if there's supposed to be some clips holding down the fiberboard underneath the carpeting in the trunk. Every time I go over a bump I hear that thing go "THUMP." Thanks for the help.

Put a speaker box back there to stop it from bouncing! But I guess that would add "THUMP"!

Yah, I'm building the box for my JL W-0 15 this weekend, when I'm not working, so there'll be plenty of thump.

i think the thump is the spare, the tool bag, or your jack. are you sure its the cover?

I'm pretty sure because the jack and the spare are bolted in tight, I checked them, and the spare bag (road-side emergency got for christmas) is wegde between the two REALLY tightly (with the tool bag underneath) so its not that and there's nothing else in the trunk....

that's why my trunk looks like when i took off the honda mud mat cover, i get no thumps... only when the bass hits
