Kaminari Lip Kit Questions
1. What is the lip kit made of? Material? Can I get it in fiber glass?
2. On Kaminari's site why do the coupe and sedan have diffrent side skirts... I've noticed on the black one its just a strip it does come up around the door. I like the side skirts on the black on better.. http://kaminari.com/products/01Civic.htm

You can mold Urethane, but it is very tough and probably won't last as long as molded fiberglass.
i wouldnt mold urethane to urethane if i were you.
thats not such a good idea.
the urethane flexes and stretches a little, if you mold it
it may cause stress fractures and wouldnt hold for very long.
its not like molding fiberglass onto it.
i have the full kaminari lip kit on my car which is a coupe
and the sides do come out from the door here take a look

mndthegap1; Yeah, remember we talked i saw your car in person at import war. Even then we said it wasnt a good idea... But i'm wondering now if they possibly make a simular kit in fiber glass. If i cant get the sedan side skirts to fit i would really like to mold there has to be something simular in fiber glass.
i did some asking around and havent found anyone
the only thing i can think of would look similiar
that does come in fiberglass would be the buddy club kit
or BC2 kit, mayabe the black widow 2 sides
that would be your best bet. i mean its not going to look exact
but i think those are the closest to it.
