Did they actually get the cam or a regrind.
And how does it suck, i need more info than "it sucks"

I remember reading about people on this site getting the Gude head package. Many of them had severe problems with it. I think it pretty much destroyed their low end performance. I think all of Gude's cams are regrinds. Maybe try another company that does custom regrinds. Crower or KMS maybe? I'm not sure.

just asking because in the new sport compact car mag they annouced that gude just released it, and there was decent power from this cam.

Okay, first off im new to this site. Ive been into import cars for about ten years now. Ive ran mid twelves in my eclipse, im not trying to be a smart a$$ but dont think im one of those kids that got in to the sport because of the Fast and the Furious, i know my shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit.

so u had a mid 12 sec eclipse.. i have built many cars.. i own a shop.. and even from my personal experince with a gude head and cam for a B16 it sucked... and u say u have been into imports for 10 years u would be one of the godfathers.. and if u were u wouldnt be asking about gude

I am a godfather, but ive never heard of gude before. Sorry i dont base my entire life around my car. But no one still has answered my question, how does gude suck. I need info on someone who has experience with this company to prove they suck.

I think everyone got the regrind though..

and they had bad quality parts coming back to the people... and crappy services too...

u can search on the web for other inputs on gude too.. its usaully a 50/50 thing...

IMO, for NA application, the cost isn't worth it...

I still haven't come across anyone completely satisfy with the 7thgen gude package...

from personal experince with friend..

Gude = poor quality, poor customer service,and major runaround. the car had their full package, and it ran horrible. with little gains whatso ever. they garantee 50 hp too.... but try to call em on it, and they say you installed it wrong or dont know what youre doing. they held on to the core charge for over 3 months for no reason. and was a pain from start to finish. I hope this helped. the cam was a regrind, thats all the offer to my knowledge

its funny because everytime spider gets into an argument about cars, he always mentions that he owns a shop. like that means you know everything about automobiles. haha
