are the z3 fenders for only looks or do those air vents function and keep ur engine cooler??? and if it is functional, can't water splash in there from the side and onto your alternator or something else...... and if you have a sri, and unto there too? sorry if i'm asking a retarded question, its not like i'm going to get it or anything, because i believe in keeping your car clean and original. only exterior mod i appove of is dropping, rims and just maybe a spoiler (factory oem)

lol, Z3 fenders are only for looks. They won't hurt anything if water gets in them.

yea, i have them,the holes are cut out, but if you open your hood, you cant see the vents so no way can the water or anythig get under the hood.
