wassup buddy

If you're planning on removing the whole console (like taking it out of the car or something), then you will need to take off the shift lever. It doesn't matter if you have manual or automatic, it's got to be off so you can get the console out of the center of the car. For Automatics, there is a single screw on the side that faces the dashboard.

Also, #48 surrounds the panel with the Cig Lighter. That attaches to the lower half of the dashboard and also attaches to the console (at the sides of the cupholders). Take this part off. It is only clipped on but be careful not to damage the piece you are pulling off.

ok, you see #33 and #30? There's one on each side. Take those out. There are a few more things you have to unscrew/unclip to be able to lift up the whole piece up (such as #9, #8, the panel that surround the shift lever (#4 for automatics; #5 for manuals)). Then there are screws under the panels that have to be removed. The basic idea can be found here: center console removal - see page 2+

Yep, I will have a COMPLETE DIY with tons of PICS posted in the next couple of weeks for the removal of the 2003 Console.

cool. I don't have the 2003 console, but they are all relative (except for a few parts), and the diagrams from Majestic Honda that I post are pretty self explanatory imo. They're like Lego instructions.

What about if you just wanted to remove up to the cig lighter on an MT? I want to remove the radio but don't know how.
