owww men yesterday i was driving on a highway and this bmw comes right behind me ,, that sucker had the brightest blue hid i have ever saw ,, when he got behind me all i could see was blue light everywhere ,,

yea, i understand your pain. Sometimes on the highway a mercedes or BMW will get behind me, and the lights will bounce off my mirrors and just blind me. So then i tap on the breaks to make him go around me ... LOL
Obviously the ones in place on BMWs and Mercedes are legal, but some aftermarket ones may not be. I know that that CATZ aftermarket HID kits say for off road use only.

if your car is not already equipped with the hid then putting it on is illegal...however if you get a hid kit that is dot approved, then you may be able to get away from that but other then that it is illegal to put it on if it doesn't come stock that way
