Injen intake question
Injen intake question
whats the diff. between Injen's race Division Intake, CAI and SRI with CAI extension? Is one better than the others? And, does anyone have some info on good sites to find these?
Thanks in advance. I searched, trust me I did.

I got my CAI from Nopi.com.
But yeah I heard that when you order from them online that sometimes they send the wrong stuff. Thats why I called my order in and talked to a sales rep.
But know I live in GA and the Nopi store is actually in Savanah GA so if I need anything I can just go there in person.
But as for the diffence in the intakes I am not sure. I got the CAI Injen and was told that it can be turned into a SRI because it is a two piece. I haven't tried it yet.

My freind installed it for me and did a great job. Check the my ride button and take a look. I think that I f I wanted to turn it into a SRI I would have to just take off the exstension and put the filter where the exstension hooked on. But like I said I have tried it.

i didnt have to take off the front bumper just the bottom slash guard, its a long black plastic piece along the bottom. as for installation, its super easy, should only take about 45 minutes to an hour.

Ok all my Injen CAI arrived today. Question, the part they tell you to cut a 3"- 4" opening into is the plastic splash guard located at the very front corner, horizontal to the ground, right? I'm guessing from the previous info from you guys that this can be done without removing the bumper, am I correct? Thanks all. I'M SOO EXCITED!!! Ricerus Maximus

I'm going Injen, gonna probably by it from the NOPI store in Savannah or maybe Fifth gear in SAV but install is easy, I installed one without removing the bumper.
