strut problem
Alright I know our cars have a problem with our struts and I heard afew of you replaced them and are still having problems so I was thinking about just replacing them with after market strut, Has anyone done this to there car and did it fit the problem?
there have been many people that have have aftermarket struts. Koni yellows are the only ones out right now. There have been some problems, but you'll have to search to find that out b/c I don't feel like explaining right now.
i went through 3 sets of honda shocks before going to koni yellows. i chose them for the warranty. installing them could be a pain in the butt or in the wallet, and after they were installed there were a couple issues that needed to be resolved with them getting loose inside the strut tubes and making creaking noises while the car was stationary and the wheel was turned. nothing that lock washers and liquid latex couldn't take care of.
i'm happy with them. with a strut brace, and progress springs the civic handles equally as well as my 86 944 N/A on the highway

I've had the Eibach Pro-kit (1" lowering) on my car for 7 months and 2 of my stock shocks are already leaking.. I don't think I'm gonna go the Koni route, but the tein basic or SS instead..

i've got the eibach sportlines and have stock struts for about past at least 6 mnths. and no problems. so sounds like you must be hittin holes hard or something. contact vnlilman and ask him in the suspension/performance forum.
