Spark plug wire conversion
My friend at a local audio and performance shop called nology and asked them if they had anything for 7th gen civics. The guy told him that they don't have anything right now, but they're making a spark plug wire conversion kit for our cars and rsx's. I didn't uderstand how it works, because he was kinda excited about this and was talking really fast. But anyways, he said that this is a guaranteed 15-20 hp increase, dyno tested! I was wondering if anyone else has heard about this or if this guy is B.S.
oh yeah, I've searched already...

No the coil packs increase the power coming from your spark plugs for starting and driving. They will lower your gas milage a little but you should get more power from your spark. The thing he is talking about is adding a distributor cap, rotor and spark plug wires like on older civics. The direct fire in our cars reduces resistence and thus can get more power than adding a cap and wires. I don't see how adding spark plug wires and a distributor cap is beneficial at all.
