hey guys i have a 2001 civic and im wondering if the center console, (the one on the floor) from the 2002 civics will fit. Because the one i have right now is just nasty, it doesnt havea cover over the cupholder and it doesnt look sleek. So im wondering if the 2002's fit since i know the 2003s dont fit since they moved the e-brake on them. BTW where would i go to get the console too?

it should fit directly no prob, the 03 wont because like you said they moved the ebrake

yeah the '02 would fit. You'dneed to take out that whole cupholder piece and take out the cigarette lighter panel. All that will be replaced by the 02 versions. Yeah Hondawerx can cover that. I think it was $75 for the complete swap, sans shipping. I don't know if they'll include the ebrake and shifter surround, becuas eyou can keep those panels and just put them onto the '02 main console. Saves at least $30 if you were picking and buying the parts separately from Majestic Honda.
