yea, those jdms are just like the tycs and the halo angel eyes... they have the wierd connectors, you just gotta make sure that you use the washer thats on your original set, and also use some plumbers putty around the hole once you get your bulb in to prevent the moisture from getting in. In the end i think you should have just taken your orginals and painted them..

those look like the lights off of ebay that have a more metallic look than gunmetal.

Yeah I had those.. I bought them in Houston when I was up there for the meet. HCCriminal helped me install them because the bulbs wouldnt fit perfectly.. We used some of that aluminum tape and then sealed it with silicone... They looked awesome but I just recently painted my OEM headlights and liked those better so they are now for sale...

what kind of paint do you guys use when painting your headlight housing black? Touch-up paint from the honda dealer? or would spray paint work? how about the paint used on Lexan for R/C cars. would that work? i mean, paint=5 bucks more or less. Brand new headlight housing costs about 140. so uh. yeah, i think i'd rather paint. thanx.

im not familar with the properties of the paint your referring to but almost any paint will work it just needs to have a nice coating ability and glassy look if thats what your going for.

I rubbed down the part of the light I was gonna paint with paint thinner to etch it somewhat and then gave about 3-4 generous coats of Black Engine High Temp. paint....They look good...

yes simple masking tape will work and be neat about it. When your cutting the tape and everything be VERY careful whenm you set it. If your a perfectionist like i am youll regret it in the end
