Hit up CapYoda's bushings. They are the same as the Kumo but are like $10 cheaper. I bought some around Christmas time. they make a noticable difference. Worth the money.

Yea your email is your login and user id.

When your account is up, you click "send" tab and begin it. You may want to use your credit card as your paying option instead of your bank account. Your credit card is a good safty valve.

spring on the shifter. If you use the spring comes with REVO SS, it will make this click click sound when you shift cuz it's all crooked, check out the product review, one of the guys has metioned about this.

They're not the same. The kumosport bushings are polyurethane, and I believe CapYoda's are alluminum. Metal bushings are usually slightly better as far as feel, but can often be much noisier. Polyurethane is like a happy medium between stock rubber bushings and metal ones. Besides CapYoda is out of them, so I would just go with the kumosport bushings.

I know exactly what you're talking about. Mine does it too, and I have very good hearing so I always notice it, and because I have noticed it I really notice it all the time. I spent like two hours trying to pad the new e-clip I bought from honda, because thats where I thought the noise was coming from: the clip rattling around. But even after sound proofing that, and making it immobile, the clicking was still there, and I noticed that the noise was coming from the spring area. Does replacing the Revo spring with the stock bring fix the problem? Please say yes

You probably just aren't noticing it. It's not very noticable at first and doesn't always do it, and if you have the stereo on or windows down you won't hear it either. I noticed it because I was sitting there making sure the shifter worked before putting everything back together, so the car and the stereo were completely off. Listen really closely next time you drive and have everthing off. Right as gear pops in place simultaneously you'll here a clink! It just makes the shifter assembly sound cheap, and not smooth.

CapYoda has a spectacular aura aboutCapYoda has a spectacular aura about
actually er... kumosports are aluminum too... I know, cuz I had them. heh. then I realize I can make the same stuff for 50% cheaper.

they anodize it that color for whatever reason? its not polyurethane.

I was going to change the material to polyurethane, but so far I dont see any reasons to. there's no extra vibration, and rust against the chassis at that specific area isn't that much of an issue.

so, I would have had color on mine too but it adds to cost. it'll look pretty but er.. u dont see the bushings when you install it.

anyway I finally got a timeframe on when it'll be back in stock, 6/6/03.

doh.

but, I have pre-order on right now at a limited quantity...

$12.75 shipped.

25% off regular price.

just gotta wait for it. pre-order guarantees you to a kit or I will refund 110% of your money back.. yada yada.. more info at the site.

Capyoda's don't cause any noise on mine. I like them!
