to clear or not to clear..
hey guys. i have a brand new 03' EX Coupe.. and i was thinkin bout clearing the front corners.. but after lookin @ my heads some more.. i actually want to black em out a bit.. but that'll probably cost me a pretty buck right? ( i am a newb ) and i don't know what i really want to do anymore.. wha you guys think.. i don't like how the stock heads, maybe only when brand new, look all alcheezy-ish.. they look all bright and stuff.. my civi is black.. and i guess i wanna go darkish more.. wha you guys think? and how much does it cost to get it blackt out? and wha exactly do they do to black it out? Ooooh and is there a diy out there on blacking em or something? thnx

Rep Power: 0 well i have a black civic also and i cleared mine and i love it. I did once though paint them black and i hated it but thats my feeling. Its actually cheap to black out your headlights all you need is a one can of primer and one can of flat black paint. Unseal your heads and primer then paint the chrome part that you can take out from your headlight. =]

Rep Power: 336 the bulbs are NOT amber. they are clear.
What i did was jus get an amber bulb. It barely makes the enclosed area orange, but during the day you wont notice it unless you're really looking for it. Cops dont harassas because when you signal, its still amber.
