M3 Mirror Answers

Ok...I've done a lot of searching and pming, does anyone know exactly where you connect the LED wires of an M3 mirror?

you connect them with ur blinkers. If i remember correctly the wires were way to short so i had them changed

Are those blinker wires located right behind the headlight, what color are th eones you're supposed to T-tap?

you have to add more wire if you want the connected to the headlight blinker, i had enough wire b/c i connecter it directly to the blinker module in the steering column.

I can't figure out which wires to hook up for the Power Portion of the mirrors....HALP!

We need some color codes up in here.

i think there a red and white....to test connect it to the battery it only lights up if they are connected the right way

That can't be right because if I remember correctly, there are no red or white wires...and the left and right side hae completely different colors than the other side.

Blue harness.

Green Red and Green Yellow. I forgot which is left or right, you'll need to use a light tester.

use the wiring that under by your fuse panal. I used the rear blinker wires that were down there. Just go to the back of your car pull back the grey matt, see what colors go to the blinkers and find them int he clump of wires that down under that fuze pull off cover. I can get the exact colors when i go home.
