This is all from what I "heard", but I heard we can have the dealership exchange it or sell us the new meters, but it will cost around $500 + the meters will be reset and the value of your car may not be as much as it is sold when the meters are not reset. So in other words, yes, it should fit.

I don't know how accurate the information is.

i have heard way too many probs with aftermarket gauges. i know lots of people have them, but i dont want to F all my gaues up. maybe im just scared.
if the new gauges do fit, just wait like 2 years and get the ones from the last version of the 7th gen since it costs so much. just my .02

Talked about it before. The connectors are not the same....so it's not a direct plug and play swap.

Yeah, even if they do fit, I don't think it's worth the money. You can buy the chrome rings to go on the 2001 style gauges for $20 and maybe find some covers at pacific mall to make'em white (although they had them for $135 when I went).

I was talking to my dealer about this and they want like $420 for the gauges, and yes they will fit although I didn't hear anything about the connectors-

new gauge cluster is obviously same size. it will fit but its not plug and play.i dont even think its worth money to get 2003 gauge cluster.
imo just get aftermarket gauge and gauge bezel. looks real good.
btw i love my silver faced reverse gauge.

No it will not be a direct fit because the 01 and 02 guages have 2 ***** (brightness and trip reset) and the 03 has one.

03 ex cluster in a 04 vp

Guys,
I just did this mod and it wasnt as difficult as I thought. I bought an 03 ex cluster from a salvage yard and had to re-pin the 2 connectors. There is a diy in tech with pin diagrams to follow. should take you about 2 hours and you're done. You should be able to get a cluster between 75.00 and 100.00.Once you're done, go to the dealership and ask them for a sticker to indicate that the odometer has been changed and validate the milage.
