some people use electrical tape. looks tacky though. go one ebay...$10.00 for ABS material eyelids that won't break or crack or scratch.

not tryin to **** you off...seems the paint doesn't quite match...or maybe its the angle of the lids...but otherwise, it looks good. can't wait to get mine on.
The paint is hard to match. The standard colors are more blue than my car. This is the premixed paint from B&M paint. I'm going to have to try and get some mixed with more red to get a "yellower" white. Also the clear coat rom B&M doesn't have as much shine. We had the same problem when the body shop used the standard code paint on a roof wing (now removed). Had to change the color by eyeball matching. They finally took my OEM grill and matched to it.
Maybe I can find a closer match by going through other paint code colors at Walmart or the parts store.
I'm open to suggestions as to how to get this color better without having to pay big bucks to get a $10 part painted.

yeah that could be pretty expensive...i'm new to hondas, but when i had my buick, i repainted that car so many times. i was able to get factory matched paint at any auto paint shop. i was actually wondering if honda had color codes that worked the same way. check out an auto paint store around in your area.
Even the Honda supplied brush on touch up paint is whiter than my car. I used the Honda paint code when I ordered the B&M. I dunno if any other Taffeta White 2001 civicx have the same problem.
Hey bartkat, im goin to OSU next year, i live like an hour and a half away from Columbus. but anyways, im not sure what i wanna do about eyelids, if i get a carbon fiber hood i dont want them to match my car color, it looks weird
