Floor board and Dynamat

In my trunk I have a board that my sub box is laying on. I haven't relocated my spare and really don't plan on it. I did dynamat the trunk though and now I have some left over. I was thinking about using the rest to dynamat the board. Would tha make much of a difference and In You Oponions wouold that be a good idea.
