$250 is a lot of $$$. It's better to just do it yourself or even pay people to do a good job IMO. How much does the shipping from Japan cost?

Still waiting on them to quote me, but if it's over $250, I'm just going to clear it myself.

But if you think about buying another set when you get caught.. it's not too bad of a price (IMO).

caught ? if both your factory(DIY) and these are clear, then why does it matter, they are the same.

If you already have cleared headlights, this is not a deal for you.
I thought it might be a good idea for people that want to keep a stock set on the side (like me).

That's debateable. Stock headlights costs $219 (PER SIDE) on Majestic Honda (dealership). You have to be lucky to get a mint condition headlights for our Civics for $100 on ebay. But then .. looking at it from your point of view, if you know someone that can sell you stock headlights for $100.. it's a much better deal to go with that. I wouldn't say "it's a stupid" decision to buy factory done cleared headlights.

Hi guys,

I'm from Thailand and we have the clear headlights here as standard on our 01-03 civic and civic hybrid, if alot of you are interested I could ship them there cheaper than $250 providing you have a decent number of orders. I'll confirm on the price again tomorrow.

Police cant tell you to fix your head lights, dozens of cars dont even come with yellow spots on their headlights. And its not like pigs would notice, they arent that intelligent. (I lost all respect for them after my 3rd speeding ticket for going 5mph over the limit)

Dozens of cars that come with cleared headlights, usually have an amber reflector somewhere on the front of the car. Didn't know cops didn't really care. Let's stop flaming me.

If they don't, then there will be side markers in the bumper or fenders. I believe it's a federal law that you have to have amber frpmt side markers and red rear side markers.

BTW: Maybe you shoulda learned about them speeding tickets after the first or second time.
