From what I heard and read on this forum, the INJEN CAI is costly, but will give me a little noticable gain.
For sound and low cost, I believe AEM SRI is the best for my automatic.
Some have PMed me that SRI actually reduces power in the daily driving... anyone that has used one.. is that true?
I don't care about performance gain, but reducing... I'm not sure if I want it now.

I have the AEM SRI and a Magnaflow exhaust. With both, I feel a little more kick over 2.5k rpms...about. I don't know about that much of a loss in power. Check AEM's site. They have the SRI dyno'd.
lol.......
I bought it just cause I wanted to hear the growl.....I don't think it kills OR adds performance

say goodbye to your low end torque..
yes it does kill daily driving.. since you dont generally rev over 3,000 RPM, right?
especially in hot days... you bog more from the start due to low torque...
everyone that has a AEM SRI or CAI or any aftermarket intake gets more low end from the stock box... its not cuz the stock box is so performance oriented, its just honda designed stock box and resonator to work better in lower rpm... where the engine's rev is usually at.
the K&N FIPK, supposely has the least lost in low end...
but 100 bucks for a SRI is definitely a good way to get some noise cheap.
although, if you just want noise.. you might as well get an ebay intake for 50 bucks. SRI or CAI.
there's a new CAI on ebay that replicates the AEM CAI exactly.. in diameter size for the pipping.. so its better than the old replica thats smaller in pipping size. 2 inches vs. 3 inches in diameter, I believe.

Performance?!?!?!
our cars have nothing of the sort.............
nah, I dont feel any change from the stock box to my AEM SRI, no bogging or anything, but i also have a DC header, and a DC TCS
