afters reading shadows post, it reminded me of something imortant. i wondered if anyone here had any links to places that you could find colored "H" emblems (red to be specific) for the 2001+. and if you wonder why i say 2001+ its because our emblems screw in as well as stick.

they have always screwd inas far as I know.
The only change for the 2001+ is they make sets where 1 of em is bigger for the front[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

ok...so i cant find them...crap. well anyways i know u have to have a certain kind so they screw in. i dont know, i just want to hear from someone whos replaced them on a 2001+

ok, but i have seen the holes in other civics... i dunno, i could alwys be crazy[IMG]i/expressions/demon.gif[/IMG] but i think you just get the emblem with the sticky so you can slap it over the holes....
havent you ever heard of someone getting their emblems stolen? you think every kid with a civic would still have that H on there if it wasent bolted in place? ah n/m im crazy

I have had red H emblems on the front & rear of my 2001 Civic. Here's the deal with those emblems....99% of the colored emblems you find on websites out there will NOT fit the front of the 2001+ Civics, but almost all of them will fit the rear. I found a guy on EBay who had colored emblems that would fit the front so I bougth them. For the front colored emblem to fit you MUST grind down the prongs on the back of the emblem to make them skinnier. The front Factory H emblem fits on the front with prongs, not screws. They have a clip that goes over the back of the prongs on the factory emblem & holds it tightly in place. There are some places out there that sell the red emblems that are made by Honda & those usually run about $50+/each. The real Honda colored emblems will NOT fit the front of the 2001+ Civics though & they ONLY come in red. P.S. - The only way to get the front factory emblem off the car is to break the prongs off the back of it. So the front emblem cannot be reused once you have taken it off. If you ever want to put the factory H back on your car you MUST buy a new emblem.

If you're looking for colored emblems for the FRONT of the 2001+ Civic, Email "JDMgroup@yahoo.com". That's who I got my emblems from. They were $28 including shipping for the big front emblem & a rear emblem. No U.S. company is currently making colored emblems for the front of the 2001+ Civics, He gets his emblems from a company overseas.

You can put it back on with double sided tape.
