i want to get a body kit, but i want to see what the ground designs kit looks like first
(the crx kit looks hella sweet) so if the 2k1 kit looks half as good, i'd be impressed
does anyone know when the hell it comes out?

actually the official Ground Designs kit isnt out yet, the one at aerotrends is their version of it. The one from GD2000 hasnt been released yet they are only doing the BW1 and BW2 kits for our car so far and they are gonna be made of 7layer Fiber glass, which i dont recommend. They are nice looking kits and they said its gonna look VERY similar to the last gen kit. They said expect release sometime in the summer

eww glass, nice show kit but i drive at least 500-600 miles a week it would just be chunks of fiberglass hanging from the car in a few weeks[IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG]

i've e mailed them a couple times over the past year or so and all they tell me is soon
i hope it's a nice wide body kit like the special edition CRX
did anyone see the vortech widebody crx in the new HCI it's bomb

yea i saw that CRX it was car of the month a while back on www.speedoptions.com and its tight looking, I really wanted the kit for the longest time then realized that FG isnt worth it no matter how cool the kit is so im going full urethane. Octane looks pretty close to the Bw kit and its mean and best of all urethane!

I had the black widow cobra kit on my mustang (see link in sig) and it had chips in it like crazy (80-100 miles a day) but didnt crack till i nailed a parking block. I thought it held up pretty good but then again I have never owned urathane.

its not the real GroundDesigns Kit, its Areotrends Version of the BW1 kit. the real one is supposed to be releaed this summer the BW2 will be out first then the BW1 will be released then the Street Fyghter kit willl come out, there mark is similar to Mugens the have a GroundDesigns Logo etched into the kit as well as a number so you can tell its authentic Rice's kit isnt

nope, 7layers of handlaid fiberglass, fits similar to OEM from what i hear but spider cracks and things just dont seem worth the money to me. Urethane is the way to go
