Hose techniques makes replacement hoses for your engine. Whether it's for show or you need better hoses. For instance many stock turbo'd cars especially rx-7's use silicon hoses like theres due to engine heat. Stock rubber hoses tend to become very brittle and crack with heat, where as silicon withstands heat better, but is more susceptable to splitting if not cut correctly. But with civics the kit is more for show. You can add color under the hood.

I have their kit, but haven't had a chance to take any pics yet. The only hoses that are actually replaced with the 7th gen civic kit are the ones for the windshield washer fluid. The rest of it you slit the hose and wrap it around things like the throttle cable and cruise control cable. It's mainly for decoration, but it also helps protect items as well.

Only the hoses for the windshield washer fluid.
The other ones shown in the picture like the throttle cable and cruise control cable are not replaced. Those are not hoses, but cables. So, you take the hose that you get and slit it open and wrap the hose around the cable.
