Steering Wheel Question...

OK I want to replace my steering wheel with an S2000 steering wheel. I've searched and I've read that i'ts possible, but there's some issue about VIN #s that I don't really understand. Why is that such a big deal? I also read that i'll have to replace the airbag. I can't just use the one I have now and put that in a new wheel?

I think the issue with the VIN is the airbag, the steering wheel might be one of the places where the VIN is. I'm not sure, purely a guess.

wouldnt worry bout that the only thing you need to keep in mind is if your swapping out a steering wheel and you have airbags its illegal in some places to swap for a steering wheel w/o an airbag. The VIN is just BS, im about to swap my OEM wheel for a 02 SI steering wheel and i have no problems
