Center console conversion...
I have a 2k1 and I was in my buddy's 2k3 and the center console is 100 times better than the two open cup holder look. I want to get the same one that is on the 2k2's bc it does not have an armrest thing (Feels uncomfy). Anyways, does anyone have a price quote or know were I can get a replacemnet. its just plastic, does anyone know were, I herd that Greg guy can get anything.
Thanks guys,
Eddie

Only place I know of is a dealer...and they will charge you up the a$$! It is really easy to install, but do you really want to spend that much money to get a cover over the cupholders? Maybe check out a few junkyards (good luck!).
Peace

yeah, the 03 center console is a lot nicer. it's more than the cup holders, the arm rest is built into the center console on top of the e-brake with a storage compartment underneath, like the older gen civics. if you drive a stick, you know that the piece of crap called an arm rest that is built into the seat on 01 models gets in the way of shifting.

lets not forget that you will have to replace the driverside seat at the same if you have and armrest. and for those of youu who were wondering the '03 dash has diff wiring harness than the '01-'02.

$120 US from my honda dealer....they really shove the sandy stick up your *** in canada eh?
When I get new seats (maybe 6 months?) i'm getting an 03 console, since the new seats obviously wont have an armrest.....and yes, you can take the armrest off the seat, but it'll leave a hole in the side of the seat.....

uh.... dur... check this.... here item 16 ... 51 BUCKS
I used to own a 97 civic and I miss having the storage compartment in the middle... right above the e-brake. It was useful and I wish I had an '03 interior because of it... and another thing... i can't stand the armrest that comes on the '02 seats anyway... its useless and I have never used it. I am going to take it off so i can atleast throw some seatcovers on there (corny I know, but will have to do till i buy racing seats). I hope to one day upgrade to the '03 center storage console... it should be really useful.
