Tanabe all the way, its been dyno tested to provide the best gains in Hp and torque. It looks sleek and it sounds deep and throaty. Its all stainless steel the straights design allowing it to expel the exhaust gases faster and it wont rust over the years because of the full stainless steel quality. Greddys a good choice too in fact i had it as a second choice but Greddy isnt full stainless steel and it doesnt proived as much of a gain as Tanabe. Hope this helps sway your decsion im partail and if your curious as to how it looks installed i have a pic in my members ride pg
here is a post similar to yours that might help your decsion Click for topic thread

here i go again....get the tanabe dude. i have been very impressed with mine and the price seems to be pretty damn good at all the places that sell it. so i will once more jump on the bandwagon and suggest the tanabe

Even in the looks department the Tanabe is the winner. I just don't like the way the GReddy looks.
The Tanabe is louder, not as low, but still low, and loud all the way through the RPM's, the Greddy got VERY quiet after you hit 3500 RPM's...
The Tanabe is by far a whole lot less lighter!!!
The looks are also better IMO...
Nothing wrong with the Greddy, i just wanted a Tanabe!
i think the tanabe is better. i was thinking of getting my tanabe exhaust from www.speedandstyle.com, but i am hesitant to buy it because the price is to low. i'm afraid that they'll gonna rip me. anybody ordered their exhaust from this website??? pls tell me your experience.

I am gonna have to say Greddy Evo just for the fact of everyone saying Tanabe. Tanabe's system is made of a super thin fiberglass packed steel. From what I've heard Tanabe sounds kinda "woof woof" like. If anyone has sound clips and pics installed, please email them to me. email Tanabe is a nice exhaust though.....I will definitly say that much.......its very sleek looking....kinda small looking outlet too.....i don't want some monster 5" outlet either...and i like it being stainless all the way back.
But, I have been partial to the Evo. 5Zigen is comming out with the Fireball for our car this month or next. Should be really nice!

Very good choice... that a boy..
I've had my tanabe a while, so happy with it, sounds, looks, and the gains were nice...
Nice deep low rpm tone, and a clean tone ( hard to hear if your goin fast enough...
) but it sounds so nice when in high rpms...
When they installed it at the shop and brought it out, I heard them reving it, and I thought an si or somethin had come in, they told me it was ready, I looked back and saw them reving it, and I almost wet myself... It was the happiest day of my life, I was so happy...
It was almost like a religious experience, I couldn't believe that it was my baby...

i think it all comes down to looks.....if you want to get the big canister look...go with the Greddy. If you want a smaller muffler and a smaller tip.....go with the Tanabe. and yes the Tanabe is louder. I'm the type who doesn't want to drive by cars and set off the alarm. I love the strong & subtle sound of the Greddy. I don't have any other performance mod right now besides my catback and people still tell me all the time that they love the way my car sounds. They always tell me it doesn't sound like half of the loud and annoying hondas. Not to say the tanabe is, because it isn't. I actually don't mind the tanabe sound....i just like the "look" of the Greddy better.
