Type of exahust?
Hey, I'm not really new to this, but I just joined recently. I've always seen the postings but just too lazy to sign up to become a member. . .anyways. . I'm trying to get a new exahust for my 02 civic EX. Anyone know any good reviews or suggestoins about these types. . . I think they are already out for the 7th gen civic: Apex N1, Apex GT spec, Greddy EVO, and Tanabe Racing Medalion (really expensive)?? Any comments on them or suggestions on a good performance exahust with aggressive looks?
i dunno man.. Import Tuner did a Dyno test. the exhuast only gave like... 1.5 HP increase? unless you like the sound... i wouldnt get it. But if i were to get an exhuast... Greddy Evo definitly..

okay... i have it here... it was a Comptech Exhuast only a 1.8 HP increase and a .8 increase on the torque. August 2001 Import Tuner. page 82

Greddy evo if you have the money. However, I am not sure if the coupe evo version is out yet. The magnaflow is a great system at a cheaper price. It is fairly quiet and very nice looking.

Yes!! Its sound is really deep and I cant believe this but I actually feel a little difference in power with it on there. Maybe I'm just imagining tho.

And about the Tanabe. . theres a similar version to it. . umm i think apex'i is almost similar wit the N1 series. . but yeah .. it can go on a coupe. . . and the evo is out for the coupe. . but its hella expensive!

apex'i only has universal mufflers right now. they don't offer any catbacks yet. N1 is the muffler that apex'i makes and that's the design ppl refer to when they say N1
