Rep Power: 0 hp racing header + cat
i was wondering, will a stock ex cat fit behind the hp racing header if i swap it for the hi-flow cat.
this is just someting i was thinking about for future emission tests.

Rep Power: 344 actually if you buy the hp racing 4-1 header with highflow cat...
you can't use the stock downpipe+cat convertor with it. it doesn't fit. the hp racing 4-1 header is longer than the stock short header.
this means that the stock downpipe with the welded cat is longer than the highflow cat. look at the picture in the post above about EX header with front exhaust.. if your downpipe with the cat doesn't look like that. it wont fit.
its just the name confusion... HP also has a short header out and I guess they call it the racing header too.

Rep Power: 0 Yea, it drives me nuts when I look for them on ebay. They all say "racing" header but none of them are the long-tube version w/high-flow cat. You have to look at each auction to make sure. Plus, they never tell you it's the top-section only half of the time.
