i'm sure that my member status says noobie, but, i've been coming here for the past year and a half. i want to know where the best place is to buy an altezza upper grill. i haven't quite figured out how to use the new search or the new parts list plus i know that many of you have the altezza grill, and now i want one. so if any of you know where i can order one for a decent price, please answer this forum.

it ends on the 23rd, and the guy needs 30+ buyers, which i guess is possible but not likely. give it a try; you'll get your money back if it doesn't go through.

and yes, it's cheaper than any altezza you'll find on ebay.

I got a genuine APC altezza 01 upper grille with an apc box and certificate + apc sticker. for $45 on ebay.

i know it was a lame question, but i had never really paid attention to the topic because i was interested in how to make my car go faster, not look better. but thank you anyway for the feedback. i will be more careful in what questions i ask in the future.

ebay is the best bet.. dont pay over $40, thats a rip off. I got mine for er... $32 I think, shipped. just look around ebay and search for it. the sellers post it now and then.

Just wait for one on ebay, unless you want to pay over $60 for it at tornactive. By the way, if you have a coupe then the radiator cover won't fit. Sedan cover will work fine.

I thought that with the altezza (not rs) the grill will bolt on to the coupe cover housing thing fine. maybe I am wrong. dont know

Coupe radiator cover will NOT work with alteeza grill. I just installed mine a couple of weeks ago, and I had to go to the dealership to get the sedan radiator cover. Some people just choose to go without the radiator cover.

What problems do you find with putting the grill on with the coupe radiator cover? Mine fits just fine. Maybe it's the brand of grill?

I got the one off ebay from hcracing. Looks just like the alteeza grill that tornactive carries. My radiator cover stuck out too far, and I couldn't get the bumper back on with the grill. The sedan radiator cover fit perfect. That's weird that yours fit. Maybe your car accidentally came with the sedan cover instead of the coupe one. Just a thought.

is it safe to run without a radiator cover, [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG] i didn't know i was gonna have radiator cover problems when i bought this thing, and for you guys that bought from hcracing on Ebay, how long did his shipping take you???? Today makes a week and i just saw the UPS guy drive by the house.[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/IMG]. The sedan radiator cover is about 15 bucks right???

Shipping was like 3 or 4 days for me. I would email hcracing and ask him for a tracking number. He's usually pretty quick to respond. I've ordered two things from him and haven't had any problems. Yeah, that price on the sedan radiator cover is about right. I think you can get it from Majestic Honda for around $10, but then you have to pay shipping and wait on that as well.

and since you got it from HCRACING...you got yourself a deal...just go buy a cover for a sedan.

I also bought my altezza grill from hcracing just last week. Took about a week to get it. It's a perfect fit. I was a little nervous about ordering from ebay, but he was great to deal with. Got a tracking number and came on time. Can't beat it for $34 shipped. I didn't want to have to wait for 30 people to join the GB so I paid the extra $4. At the time I ordered the grill, I went to my Honda dealer and ordered a sedan radiator cover too so they would come in at the same time and I could install it together. Matter of fact, they got three grills for sale going on right now on ebay for hcracingusa.
