That hp number is way off. The best hp increase that the RSX has seen from a CAI is 19.7 from AEM. I would go with the RSX Type R motor personally.

K20A (JDM INTEGRA) And BOOST THAT BI.TCH!!! can you say over 300whp??
Oh and you might be able to get a B18 or B16 cheaper than a K20A but no one has put one of those moters in 7thgen's yet so youd be up ***** creek when it comes to help and advice, and in the end, once you get all the parts made to make it fit, youd probably be at the same cost.. K20A

Been a while since I've said that. But anyway, yeah, the gains are the most impressive, you have that lovely 6 speed manual transmission option (W/ LSD) and it's the only one as of yet that there's a mount kit out for, so it'll most likely be cheaper to install (although prolly just as expensive to acquire).

K24.
I was reading on clubrsx that Jun was able to extract 270hp NA. Whether it's to the flywheels or wheels is unknown. But it's got apprx 30-40% more torque making this a potent engine.
And it's gonna be cheap about 6 years from now.

i'd stay "old school" so to speak and swap to the B18CR. the usdm version is capable of so damn much NA that the jdm would just be that much better since it's got a higher cr straight from the factory.
if i had my way i would have a b20 with a vtec head. and boost it. that would give you some serious fu@king numbers.
but then theres that money issue.

Either a B18C5 or a K20A, kind of a tough decision. I'd prob end up with the K20A just because of the larger displacement and it's newer.
If you have a 2k2+ Civic you are pretty much limited to a K series swap...imo the best would be the K20A, and once frankenstein motors are perfected with that block it wouldnt be a surprise to see K24's mated with the K20A head producing huge gains.
As for the 2001 Civic, you can still play with year 2001 B18C1 GSR motors and B18C5 Type R motors...I dont know how many times ive typed up this stuff so you can do a search if you want to read what time and effort would be needed to put those motors in.
Personally if I was swapping another car I wouldnt go with anything less than a Type R motor(ie K20A, B18C spec R/C5 etc)

General Electric F110-GE-100/129 (27000 lbs of thrust)... it might be a little heavy for our chassis tho (think engine out of an F-16 fighter)
seriously, id go with a K20A
prolly the best bet for $/performance

I would pick the k24 in the Acura TSX. 200hp and 166 lbft torque. I dont need to rev my engine to 8000 to be fast and quick. But that would probably cost a arm and both legs, so I would go with the K20 which would only cost me a arm and a leg.

K20A - This is the strongest one, but this one most likely is used.... from Japan... probably pricey.
K20A2 - We can find these here and there in US probably cheaper...
Idon't know what I'm saying.. but for the price/performance.. K20A2 is probably a better buy.
