DC Sports TCS??
DC Sports TCS??
My original post was moved to Off Topic and it definitely is not off topic material. Anyways, I was thinking about the DC Sports TCS exhaust for my car and I'm not sure. I'm getting $669 back from taxes and this is the first thing that popped into my mind. Anything other suggestions on what to get with the money>? Thanks.
****, I knew there was something I left out in the original post. Sorry guys. I have a 2001 EX 5spd. And for my mods, check my memebers ride section.
Oh and does anyone have a sound clip of the TCS???

ive read bad things about that tcs exhaust and have talked to 2 peole that i know that have it. the welds crack and the pipe leaks. have you thought about going to a shop and having them bend a custom pipe and buying a muffler??....you'll spend less than half of the money that you got back (depending on where you live)

I'm all set with going to a muffler shop and having them make an exhaust for me. The piping with eventually rust through unlike the TCS.

I love my TCS, and have no regrets about buying it, i have had it now for 4 months and wouldn't want anything else, any one else who hears it too thinks it sounds awesome. As for weldings cracking and pipes leaking? I cant see even a glimps of anything near deterioration. if you want a decent price on it considering it retails at like 689, Import Store (i bought mine from them and had a good experience with) i believe it was about 550 total including shipping, and if you use the coupon code clubsi10off for Speed and Style i think it is the cheapest place to buy from. TCS is a good quality exhaust and is worth the money, no custom shop could do better.
Cool, because that is one of the two exausts I am looking at (the other one HKS rear-section). I was worried because I had read it got hot and could melt a kit. Thanks for clearing that up dude!

The TCS sounds really good, but you have to ask yourself whether it's worth it. The larger piping will rob back pressure. Out of all the catbacks, I think this one only gave 1-2hp if that. And besides, it looks so strange on the car. From far away, it looks like stock. Just get something that you think looks good, since sound and looks are the only real factors.
I agree with bluerevs, I have had mine for about as long as his and I have no problems with it. if you want a reeeally loud exhaust, I wouldnt suggest it, but the tone is great. I got mine at a local shop for 590 installed out the door. I just went in there and told them that this other shop would sell it to me for 600 installed, so they were like alright we will do it for 590.
but yea anyways tcs

I've had it for 8 months and I always have people come up tp me telling me about how good it sounds...I personally can't stand loud "ricey" sounding exhaust that you hear from most other imports, but that's my opinion...
DC just came out with the TCS for my 02 LX on Jan 22nd. I pickedit up on Jan 23rd, and installed it on Jan 25th. I have had zero problems with it so far. Love the sound, Love the look. You can see a good picture of it on my members ride page.

Anyone out there yet have the TCS yet on the Sedan and have pics. I'm just wondering how it looks and if there was any problems installing because of the Sedan's having basically no cut out for a bigger exhaust. Let me know if you do, if you like it, etc. Thanks

I'm glad to hear this exhaust system is so good...I've heard lots of good things about DC Sports but I've never actuley owned one of thier systems but now that I found a cheap price thanks to member "Blue Revs" a price tag of $476.10 sounds a heck of a lot better than the $599 which with my research was the cheapest I could find it....thanks a lot.
