I have been looking for some Sylvania Silverstars, and I can't seem to find anyone who sells them here in Calgary. I went into a tuner shop here in town, and he told me about these M-Tech (sp?) lights. He says they are better than the silverstars, because they shine at 4350 degrees as compared to silverstars that shine at 4100 degrees. My question is, are these worth the $60 canadian, or should I stick with my search for silverstars?

Personally, I'd pick up the M-tech's (I thought it was M-Tec...hmmmm). From what I've heard the M-tech's are worth every penny because they look so close to HID's. I can't speak from experience though. I know you can pick them up off of eBay for about $25.00 US, so take a look .

Thanks man. I wasn't sure if this guy was sh*tin' me or not. I've never heard of them before. I did a check on ebay too, and actually $60 canadian is cheaper than the prices+shipping. I think I'll go back tomorrow and drop the $.

i bought a pair of those. got it for 2.99 on ebay. one of them burned and destroyed my left headlight, so with warranty and a little lie, i got my headlight recovered. those look nothing unless u get those aftermarket harnesses on.

i just got some mtecs and theyre pretty nice.
nice and white with a hint of blue.

I bought the Mtecs too. They look really bright when you look at the headlights, but inside the car while driving they aren't that bright. I still like them and hey do have a nice blue tint to them.
